However, recently some COPYCATS of LONEN are found in the market, which are of inferior quality. The question is how to distinguish the original genuine LONEN LED products from the fake copy ones. Here are some tips for you to identify the original from the fake.

Step One: Trade mark identification

Good LED lights should have clear printing and the text on it should not be rubbed off with wet cloth, while the inferior products have low quality printing and some even lack manufacturer identify or relevant certificate mark. LONEN original trademark mainly in 4 different usages.

 

Step Two: Packing material identification

1. Printing quality

Original : Supreme quality label with double side colorful printing

Fake: Black-and-white printing at the back side.

2. Card material

Original: thick and heavy

Fake: thin and light

3. Plastic cover

Original: pure and strong enough to protect goods during transportation

Fake: impure and soft that easily be pressed out of shape

 

Step Three: Exterior Appearance Identification

1. Silk screen printing of LOGO

Original：clear and clean printing

Fake：blurred printing

2. The joint place

Original: The gap between the joint parts is tiny

Fake: the gap between the joint parts is big

 

Step Four: Internal structure identification

1. LED bulb quality

Original：Adapting supreme quality LED bulb with high brightness white light,more penetrating and longer luminous distance.

Fake: Poor weak light and short luminous distance

2. PC board(Printed circuit board) quality

1) Legend printing:

Original: legends are printed on PCB. It contains the component designators, switch settings, test points and other indications helpful in assembling, testing and servicing the circuit board

Fake: No any legend showed on the PCB, which will easily make mistake when assemble.

2) Rubber pipe protection:

Original: Two pieces rubber pipe wrapped outside the indicator wire to avoid any short circuit happen

Fake: Only one indicator wire is wrapped with rubber pipe which makes the other naked wire easily hit other metal spare part and short circuit happen.

3) LED PCB

Original: Each led bulb is equipped with one piece resistance to protect from damage made by unstable electric current

Fake: No any resistance on the PCB to protect the bulb which makes the bulb easily be damaged.

4) Wire

Original: the wire we use are more thick

Fake: the fake ones are almost 1/3 thinner.

3. Rechargeable battery quality

Original: high capacity battery with ordinary size and weight which ensure the durable and long-lasting operation.

Fake: low capacity, smaller in size and lighter in weight which leads to short operation time and the recycle time reduced.
