What is COB? 

COB (Chips on Board), is a new technology of LED packaging for LED light engine. Multi LED chips are packaged together as one lighting module. When it lights up, it looks like a lighting panel.

 

Why COB Becomes Mainstream?

Recently COB LED light leads mainstream in the LED Market, increases the performance significantly from previous version, and creates more options to match luminaire’s products design with marked character of high performance, improved heat dissipation area, cost effective, small light emitting surface and increased allowable max. Emitted light density of the LED package is improved higher for suitable use of light-condensing products. With a new technical multi LED (Light Emitting Diode) chips packaged, COB LED is more energy-saving and lifespan-long and less glare-uncomfortable through optional lens or covered used than other traditional LED with discrete or slice style packaged such as SMD, HP, Flux LED etc.
